Thanks everyone.
Woofer seems alright. Eating his head off so nowt much wrong with him!
Hiding coz of the bloody fireworks though! Why can't people just let them off 1 or 2 nights? Why for a whole sodding week? :wall:
I can't believe it's November already? This year has flown and I don't feel like I've got anywhere! I know I have debt wise but not as much as I would of hoped! :undecided
Just feels weird! The effects of tiredness! :rotfl:0 -
Awww, SS, I'm sorry, I've only just caught up with your thread.....I'm glad Woofer is okay and hope he gets over the op quickly. My dog had tumours several times and had quite a few ops, but she lived to a 'ripe old age' as my mum would say.
((((hugs))))"I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -

Cheers Snaggly.
I'm getting a bit nervous about the biopsy results now!
But I've read up on some stuff and even if they are malignant it's more than possible that they haven't (insert some medical word which means spread) as skin tumours normally don't or something!
He doesn't seem to be any pain but animals are more resiliant than people aren't they? Plus he is as daft as a brush anyway! :rotfl:0 -
Yes, I think my dog had a malignant one, but it hadn't....um.....spread (I don't know the word either
). But I will keep everything crossed that they are benign, as I think dogs quite often get benign tumours anyway.
Give him a cuddle from me.....and here's a very dodgy cuddle for you too....:grouphug:"I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -
Hiya! The word is metatsa ... metasta .... (cough) ..... metastabubble ...... metastasize... (that z depends on whether you're English or American, and I really have no idea which way round it is. As a walking dictionary, I leave a lot to be desired.
Anyway, hi SS  hi Woofer  - great name, by the way - how are you both today?2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
No results from the biopsy yet!
The vet seems happy with how he's healing but I without saying it, gave the impression they are cancerous. Also said 'when' he gets the lumps again he should be OK as long as we catch them early! :undecided
I'm not sure whether I'm relieved or not! My fear was we'd have to have him put to sleep but I don't think thats the case. It's more of a whip them out when they appear approach! I think!
But he has a strong heart and as long as he isn't in any pain thats the main thing.0 -
That's what we had to do with our dog too - check for lumps regularly and whisk him straight to the vets if any came up. She had quite a few ops over the years and I think she lived to about 13 years old, so it didn't seem to do her much harm really.
Thanks for last night btw!:rotfl:

Well I just paid £275 off of my Morgan Stanley card leaving £275 left!
Hopefully, I should be able to pay the rest of that off this month! :T
When that clears and my loan payment comes out on the 10th I would have cleared £20,000! :rolleyes:0 -
Wow!!! What an achievement!! Well done xx0
