Aww go and buy him something yummy.

When will you know how he is?

We've got to phone them at 3pm. Op takes about an hour.

I know it sounds bad but I do like him when he's all dopey from anaesetic(sp). You can poke him and stuff and he can't do anything about it! :p

Last time our dog had one, she was paralysed for a few hours in her back legs - trying to lift a 12 stone dog out of the car was a nightmare

I'll be at work later, but will be thinking about you. I'll check back as soon as I get in, probably around 7.30. Give him a hug from me :p

  • Woofer is home! :D

He looks really sore bless him. Loads of bald patches aswell and really red eyes! But he's got an apetite on him which is good! :)

The tumours are being sent of for a biopsy and we should get the results next week. Trying not to think about that for the moment though and just really happy he is home and OK.

My mum insisted on paying for the op aswell even though he is 'my' dog! Thank you mum! :T

And thank you everyone for your kind words, thoughts and well wishes. I can't properly explain how much it means to me. :o

    Hi SS

Aw, sweetie - glad to hear woofer is home, and you've got your mum on your side to deal. It doesn't sound bad to say he's sweet when he's all dopey from the anaesthetic - it sounds like he's actually your real life teddy bear! Just enjoy him tonight.

    More hugs.

  • Hi SS, just caught up with ur thread....

Glad ur 'woofer' is ok for now, I hope the results come back negative too. It's horrid when ur animal is sick/at the vets..... I remember feeling awful when my dog went to have his neutering done.... (think that might have been guilt tho for chopping them before he got use them properly!)

Seriously tho, hope ur dog gets better soon

Glad he's home SS. Try not to think about the results of the biopsy until next week.

Did you buy him something nice?
