Thanks peeps.
Well as predicted September was an expensive month. £2,539.08 to be precise! Not bad considering I take home just over £1,600! :rotfl:
But I've had the money for it all and still have some left ofter (although that will be probably all be gone by the weekend  )
That did include £525 on my car (insurance and tax), £500 extra towards my debts which I forgot about  and also £322 on 'me' money!
Actually sod the embarrased smiley. I worked hard to earn the money and I played hard aswell this month and bloody enjoyed it. I shouldn't feel guilty about spending money on myself. The debt does not control me anymore!
Still need to buy a new suit and get a wedding prezzie, aswell as booking a hotel room! But hey ho! :rolleyes:0 -
I wish my boyfriend was as determined to pay stuff off as you are SS, he's 25 and just spends it like there's no tomorrow! He got paid last week (monthly pay) and he needs me to lend him £35 today to get him through the month.
And he earns MORE than I do :mad:Trying to sort my life out, and I'm going to get there!0 -
Hey SS! Lovely to see you back, totally understand why you needed the break, but don't do it so often, we missed ya!"I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250

I wouldn't sweat it if I were you SS hun. We all need a break from this from time to time otherwise we'd go spare. It's all about finding a balance that suits you. I'd be willing to bet (actually maybe I wouldn't as I've not got much cash this month and you're a betting genius) that you spent less on "me" stuff than you would have done pre MSE.

Glad you enjoyed it all. You certainly deserved it. You won't be able to get through the long haul without plenty of good times. So get planning the next one!
Have you got a better idea of how much "extra" is coming your way yet as a result of your extreme helpfulness to so many on here last month? hey dude! great to see u back
i know what u mean about feeling guilty about buying stuff for urself though . I had a bit of luck with one of the casino offers ive been working me way through and managed to win £200 out of it plus the cashback from Topcashback so i spent it on a shiny new xbox360
I havent actually spent anything of my matched betting/casino bagging winnings and this time i thought sod it! i deserve a break and ive been wanting one of these since they came out
I even managed to part exchange some of my old games and get a couple of new games as wellwe all deserve a break at times mate (kips told me that
) and we all need to treat ourselves once in a while
Your over the half way point in your debt mate and basically its all down hill from nowthe uphill slogg has been done and you have broken the back of your debt  now everything u pay off takes it that one step closer to the magical zero
