Sounds nice.....but was it all worth it?

Well there's a saying about how you regret things more that you didn't do than what you did do!

It has been roller coaster but I know I will never get into this sort of mess again! Guess it's a bit like the measles. Better to get it over and done with early! :p

If i had got my debt the same way i would say that money can be paid back and forgotten about but the memories of living the high life would stay with me forever to be enjoyed in my old age :T :T

At least you've learnt from it and know not to do it again! I wish my boyfriend would learn from his mistakes and stop spending money he doesn't have.
Trying to sort my life out, and I'm going to get there!

    Debt-free and Proud!
I'm soo envious, SS, as my debt was all nappies, booze for the drunken now ex, bleach, loo paper, food. At least you've driven a new car and stayed somewhere other than a stinky caravan in Norfolk in the rain - I would have hanged myself, but there was insufficient clearance and I'm only 5'3" !!

    Debt envy - what next?!

You're doing wonderfully -big yo'self up!

  • SS I've only just caught up with this thread and I don't know quite what to say except thank you so much for sharing with everyone and so sorry that Virgin aren't playing ball. Please let us know if there's anything we can do to help.

  • Well I have only been here about a week and have finally got to the end of your thread- I just wanted to say how impressive your self control is. I can hardly believe its possible to pay so much off in such a short amount of time. You have me wondering ( about car mats for one thing!) how i can get my debt free date closer and how much of an over payment i can make.

Might sound a bit lame but really its been an inspirational read.

    Thank you!

    Buffy
    Nevertheless she persisted.
