Investing in Japan or emerging markets, what do you think?

If anyone spots any errors or thinks there are other brokers worth mentioning - especially ones that can trade markets not already mentioned or can do it at a much better rate - please let me know and I'll update it.

I put it up because I write about international investing (Asia and EMs in particular) and I get a lot of questions about which broker will trade which markets, so it's useful to be able to send people an overview of where to look. Hope it's helpful. Will keep adding to it as I can.
