Snowed under this week with Lionbridge work, and childminding clients - its either feast or famine when you're self employed.

    - do some Lionbridge work - or am going to get fired at this rate, I'm not keeping up with it much.
    - low spend day - will treat Small to an icecream and get some cheap washing powder.
    - homemade cake to take to friends tonight
    - get back into ebay, put up an auction I've procrastincated about
    - vivatic, almost at £10, then I can buy that compost bin I've been saving for....:D. (Yeah I know you can make your own but I'm not that handy, I know my limits!!)
    - tax credit renewal. Not that I've left it late or anything.

Hi all, hope you're having a good Thursday! Sun is finally shining now so looking longingly out the window...

    Today I have...
Checked TCB to see if my cashback is ready to be paid yet - nope :(
Ordered 2 freebie canvases from the code on the Grabbit board - tried to get a couple more as presents but the code was expired - damn!
Started to think about Christmas presents as...
Bought Christmas work do tickets today! It's taking place at a hotel just down the road from my house so no taxis, no hotels and a three course meal for both me and my boyfriend for £37.50 - bargain!
    Car shared to work

    Still remaining to do...
Work out what I can afford to put in savings this month
    Post test letters
LSD - going to cinema tonight for cheap date night, but with reduced price tickets and will pop to Mr T's beforehand for sweeties rather than buy popcorn!
    Check Ebay
Check whether my phone has been received
    Enjoy the sunshine!

Hope everyone has a great day!

I have just had my first ever reduced sticker haul!!!!:j:j:j
Was so chuffed that I had to tell you all!

I managed to get over £17 worth of fresh stuff (that can be frozen) for just £4.37! Its mostly things like cheese, veggie lasagnes, fish, cauli cheese, ready done mash (Hairy Bikers one no less!) - all very handy for those days when you just don't have time.

I'm not a big convenience person but I am a very busy teacher and sometimes just don't the oomph or inclination to create from scratch:o.

Most of it is already in the freezer and in my excitement I forgot to check the bakery and bread aisles for bargains - oh well - better leave some for someone else, just grateful for my haul.

I even got some ready cooked chicken bits for the dog as a treat ( I don't eat meat). Thank you Mr T!:rotfl::rotfl:

PS I only went for kitchen roll to clean the conservatory!
