anyone gone into a store to see if it works? and can anyone confirm whether 2 for £x offers kick in too?

my boyfriend is watching the f1 practice and he'll be driving me to a tesco very soon!

Just come back from my local Tescos - 2 for £8 did come off, but I don't think it worked as well as the last sale did. Maybe you guys can help me work it out?

Presuming your list is correct and you bought 7 womens tops and that the mens top isn't part of any multi-buy but is a 'summer' item in the sale then you've been diddled by £3.


MENS JERSEY £9 - half price £4.50
MENS TOPS £6 - half price £3

WOMENS JERSEY £6 - 2 for £8 and half price
WOMENS JERSEY £6

WOMENS JERSEY £6 - 2 for £8 and half price

My 2 for £8 t-shirts only took £1 off as discount, yet they were marked as £6 each! Might be wrong, but have they lowered the multi-buy discount whilst the 1/2 price event is on???

Thanks OP - just got some lovely dresses for DD , some with 70% in sale and then a further 50% off, + a further 15% off using the code!! Paid for a next day delivery, so fingers crossed!!!!

In the 1/2 price summer section online, has anyone else found that things dont seem to be reduced? Or are the prices listed as half price? I'm so confused lol

EDIT: Ignore me...says it will apply at checkout. *doh*

From iKennets post it would seem that they've rectified their previous glitch whereby it was taking the 50% off the full item price before the multi-buy.

In the case of 2 for £8 tops, it is taking off £4 which is correct but in the last sale it was taking off £6 making each top £1 instead of the correct £2. If you get 2 tops on multi-buy then your receipt should say:

Multi-buy discount : £4
50% sale discount: £4

Therefore, 2 tops would cost £4 or £2 each. Still a good price but not as good as the glitch a few weeks ago.

Didn't find it was any easier. Just got back from the store, and despite choosing everything from the "Summer Sale" section, still managed at least 2 items that were not half price!
