pension credit backdated?

hi my mum has just moved into a flat after separating from husband and was told she can get pension credit, does anyone know if this will be backdated to when she moved into flat. she has someone coming to see her next week with the forms etc.

Pension credit can be backdated for up to 3 months. Obviously she would have to have qualified e.g. old enough, low enough income, for the backdated period. The person helping her fill in the forms will keep her right on this.0
