Scottish Power reward payment applied to my account.
I had an email from Ovo asking for my meter readings, so I sent them. At the same time, I logged onto Scottish Power to enter the same meter readings as my final readings for them.
My credit amount jumped from £263 to £365. This is the £105 applied to my account minus the small usage since I submitted my last readings a few days ago.
Seems Scottish Power are finally coming good in applying the reward payments.

Hi ian1969uk,
Yes we have started applying all reward payments and hope to have them all applied by the end of the week.
Kind regards

Great advice from Ian.
I submitted my readings today and forced out the Reward payment which was not showing before.
This way you can see it is there before the contract end date.
If has been reported these accounts will disappear as any switch goes through you will at least have an assurance that your Reward has been credited.0 -

Thank you for posting Ian. I didn't get the chance to enter final readings (wasn't asked to either) but I came home to a final bill today for my electricity of £2.65 so the credit hasn't been applied to me yet but I am still waiting for my final gas bill, hopefully the reward will be reflected in that???This site has saved me a fortune :money: ...it's also cost me a fortune!

Tharweb,
The credit has shown on the electricity account.
I don't know if it will always show there but it seems likely.0 -
Tharweb,
Following the reading, the system has now updated overnight and produced a bill.
The Reward credit of £105 is actually shown on a separate line against 'Other charges' and not specifically against the electricity account as implied on the summary page yesterday.
This a combined online bill and perhaps does not mirror your situation where you seem to be waiting for a paper bill.
I hope this helps.0 -
Eh? What reward payments? I'm on online energy saver 13 and am looking to cancel before 1 Aug and swap.Feudal Britain needs land reform. 70% of the land is "owned" by 1 % of the population and at least 50% is unregistered (inherited by landed gentry). Thats why your slave box costs so much..0

£105 from a tariff called SP Online Energy Reward which ends on 31/7/11.
It was a good short term fixed tariff with a bonus payable towards the end.0 -
