You do realise recruitment and retention premia is being phased out?
Out of interest how did you not know your post attracted it to start with?
Having spoken to HR I do realise that they're currently reviewing pretty much everything. There are rumours that we'll soon have to re-apply for our jobs even, yet we might be lucky enough to have our current status frozen for a period.
However this does not excuse the fact for very nearly 7 years they have not been paying me something that they're supposed to.
With regards to your last question, Did I not know to begin with? I may have been told in passing by my manager during interview, but it wasn't something I was focusing on and I quickly forgot about it, until one day we were comparing payslips and someone asked me why I wasn't getting such an such a payment, that got sorted out after many dragging of heels and now I realise that I only did half the job of getting what I am entitled to!
