Mine still saying in production.

Mines in production too....but that is in line with their delivery times for Canvases which states

"Estimated Production Time - 4 working days"
"Estimated Time in Post 1-3 working days"
"Estimated Total Time to You 5-7 working days"

Based on that we are looking at between 5th and 9th August for delivery (unless they decide to cancel beforehand). My fingers are tightly crossed!

I have spoken to my local Jessops this morning about the 40p camera case that was offered about 10 days ago, after him telling me it was now out of stock and I would not be getting one, he apologised on behalf of the company ( he also said he will give me a discount on another case if I go in store for my trouble, thanks Duncan) I broached the subject of the canvas, he said in his opinion they would probably honor the deal as they cant make the excuse of it being out of stock he has told me to ring the store on Saturday to see if my canvas has been delivered if it hasn't he will look into it. Hope this helps


OOOps SPOKE TOO SOON E MAIL TODAY NOT GETTING THEM, APPARENTLY I DIDNT ORDER A CANON CAMERA, AH WELL DUNCAN I'LL JUST POP ALONG AN GET MY DISCOUNT ON A CAMERA CASE THAT I MISSED OUT ON, WELL DONE IF YOU GOT YOURS (WASNT GREEDY EITHER, ONLY ORDERED ONE!!!!)

It'll be nice if they honour it. Would be good publicity for them.
Didn't someone point out on here that the code was supposed to be used when you bought a Canon camera? Perhaps they check to see if that's the case. But then someone else pointed out that another company handles the photo printing side (CEWE?) so perhaps they'll just think there was a mass order of camera bought! Mind you, I'd have bought a camera if there was a free canvas with it, as I'm looking for a decent camera.
And the orders say 'in production' so they must be being honoured.
I wonder how these things work. Is it all computerised or do they have people sitting on a factory line...
