Usually it doesn't matter if they get one order of
100, I think 100 orders of 1 overnight would have the same effect.
I think what gets to people with glitches like this is that most of us would rather see 100 people get one chance at a real treat as opposed to one person getting 100 chances.
If you want to go overboard then feel free to fill yer boots. Just keep your smugness to yourself as it only gets peoples backs up. :money:0 -
I just go with the flow on these sort of situations, people will be people, everyone has a line they will cross. I would say 99% of these get cancelled anyway. It's human nature to brag.0

THe thing is though, Jessops may not have even noticed at all.
All the printing is done through a third party company (Possible CEWE, who do their photobooks), so it may well be that they would process the orders (may still do so) and then Jessops get sent a nice report on the volume of business done.
So, if this guy on twitter http://twitter.com/#!/jessops hadn't decided to alert them, the mayhem could have been going on all day......
So if anyone knows a James Smith (very anonymous name...) please have a word.....;)0 -

I've had an email to say they are only honouring the pictures where people look full of joy or very smug. I think my orders will sneak through.:D:p
I absolutely agree with your last 2 posts, the infamous phases of a good glitch.:)0 -

how would me ordering 5 last night effect someone else?? it wouldnt so your 100 people still could have ordered..
the glitch would have been picked up this morning (which it was) so regardless of me ordering 1 or 5 those coming in this morning still wouldnt have got it...
and how can anyone be smug when the orders havent even been dispatched and may not even go through???
did you miss out on this order or something?? you sound very bitter..0 -
Thank you. Yes, I'd made the same mistake too. Oh now there's still hope of it arriving. Says "in production" again so that's good. Thanks again. If I had known then what I know now . . .

They did a promotion before where they said that only smiling people in photo's would be honoured at one per household. I haven't had an email stating that today but I am sure mine well and truly qualifies.
It's a shame there is all the bickering of who ordered what and who's fault it is, who cares? There are people in this country that can't afford to feed ther kids which I care alot more about than if one person feels the need to surround themselves with dozens of smiley canvases, they may need those dozens of smiles to keep them going, to the grabbit board loljust kidding.
I hope they honour one per household, that way we can all enjoy one smile each.
And for anyone who doesn't get one here's one on the houseComping wishlist for 2017
1. Family holiday 2. Christmas presents :rudolf: 3. Fishing stuffThe more you put into life, the more you get out0 -
You only got 2 DOVES. Well done you
And you ordered 3 canvasses for different addresses - nothing against the terms and conditions for that but posting a glitch that blatantly broke all the T&Cs got you on your soap box? Why so happy to take advantage of this glitch and not your own one?
As for how many deodorants I got - have a guess :rotfl:

Nope, I have my order for a single print "in production". Yet again, I should point out that I haven't tried to blame you for the promo being cancelled or in advance of any cancellation emails being sent. What I have repeatedly said is that most of us were over the moon to be able to order one print but to have someone come on and openly brag about placing multiple orders get peoples backs up.
Bitter ... no
Jealous ... no
Annoyed ... yes0
