they are all fairly close - depends on how long you have. to give yourself an idea perhaps look at googlemaps and get walking directions. if you want to do lots in one day, walking it all will be a lot, but there are plenty of buses. around waterloo, the south bank is a good place to start. lots of places to eat and potter about in as you walk towards london bridge.:happyhear0

You are only about 10 minutes straight forward walk from your hotel to The London Eye and the Thames embankment area. Big Ben is a short nice, walk over the bridge from the Eye. You can get a boat from the embankment to The Tower Of London or good bus links in the area. About 25 minute walk to Covent Garden from your hotel. Imperial War Museum is about a 10 minute walk from your hotel. If you want to use just buses go to www.tfl.gov.uk and click advance options under the journey planner on the right of the screen. Put in start and end journey, scroll down to the bottom of the page and deslect everything except buses and it will show you bus journeys.
You could do a tour using London buses. Here are the details, just scroll down to start from the London Eye. You can get an oyster card for £5 refundable deposit (just hand it in at the tube station office before going home to get the £5 deposit back and any small amount of credit left (larger amounts you have to send off for). The Oyster caps at £4 per day for unl;imited use on buses and charges £1.30 per single journey before the cap is reached and gives you 10% off Thames Clipper boat rates.

if you google 'buses from.... ' pretty much any place in london, you can get these bus maps. or at any bus stop they have maps and lists of what bus goes to what destination. it's quite a nice walk from waterloo to victoria, through westminster, but you can get a bus direct from the bus station (211) which may be easier with luggage.:happyhear0 -
You could get the c10 towards canada water from outside Victoria coach station to St Georges Circus-hotel is 3 mins from there. www.tfl.gov.uk go to journey planner and put in sw1v9tp as start and select postcode and put hotel postcode SE18UX and then it will bring up this journey select it and you can see a map at the bottom. 35 minutes journey time. It is about a 50 minute walk, if you go into googlemaps put in postcodes and click on walking person icon it will bring up the route and you can click on street view to do a virtual walk.0
