Uninstalling keyboard driver problem

I've got a faulty laptop keyboard - accidentally spilt tea on it and it's playing up now! Anyway I've bought a cheapo keyboard and plugged it into the usb port. Trouble is when I try to uninstall the laptop keyboard drivers as soon as I reboot it automatically reinstalls it! How can I bypass this automatic configuration?

You dont you should just leave it and be able to use the USB keyboard with no problems, are you having problems or is it a case of you dont want those drivers? I mean if the usb keyboard works fine just leave things alone.

Kitty, you also need to remember that your laptop isnt just a keyboard and screen, all the bits of the computer sit under the keyboard so it is likley you game them a drink also so make sure it is thoroughly dried out for a few days or a week if possible before you continue to use it again.
