Can anyone recommend a cheapish place to eat dinner in or within walking distance of waterloo London ? places like TFI fridays or something similar

Being a cheapskate I can tell you how to have a cheap meal. If its a nice day for a picnic go to a Tesco metro when they have reduced the price of their sandwiches. Buy some cake & a Tesco drink too, then go into one of the many London Parks & catch a bit of late evening sun.
