Working From Home - Any legit companies about?

Hi
I've been a stay at home for what seems like an eternity now, and I have a lot of free times on my hands now my children are growing up. I'd love to have a bit of extra income from working at home; this would really appeal to me as I hardly have any qualifications or educational background that would make me a suitable candidate. My own fault I know :(
Does anyone know of any legit companies that offer stay at home jobs, a friend of mine once said she used to construct boxes or something similar? Can't remember the exact details.
Doing a bit of research tells me giving money upfront is A NO NO and most of the adverts I've seen are for salespeople which I'm not really interested in :rotfl:
Has anyone had any sucesses doing this type of thing?
Thanks in advance :A

Google Arise work from home, they are a company that have companies under them looking for people to work from home on a self employed basis (such as home shop direct), setting up their own ltd company, but if you didn't want to set your own ltd company up, you can go under another one such as callcatcherz (there are many more, i just know these are brilliant). Google them too. Callcatcherz also have other companies of their own that they know hire people to work from home.

I started it (But gave up half way through as I wanted a job outside the house), it is an 8 week training course, you need a clean CRB, a quiet room, good pc, telephone line, broadband, and a telephone which enables a headset. you can pick your own hours.

    Hope this helps

Why do you need to stay at home, if your kids are getting older? If you really need to stay at home then why not do some studying to gain some better qualifications?
