Wireless Broadband to Wii

Hi all, and a very happy new year to all MSEers.

I am lucky enough to have the excellent wii in my front room, and now I want to connect via my orange livebox to the WWW.

But, i have no idea how to obtain my wep key. I haven't got the orange installation cd any more - so where do I find the key ???

Have you looked underneath? it may be on a sticker. If not log-in and look.

try clicking on these links 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.2.1 as they should take you to the router homepage

One thing to try if the WEP key is not accepted, try it in lower cased. Although the sticker was in capitals, the Wii wanted it in lower case.

I think that Orange have adopted an uppercase WEP key policy but I don't see why you can't log-in and change it to whatever you want i.e. a hex string like this:6FEC5685F8A53982F8562280BC
