HELP! Debt Collection Agency NOT updating my Credit Report

in Credit cards
Hi guys, about 2 years ago I defaulted on my Halifax CC (Stoopid I know) I was contacted shortly after by Blair, Oliver & Scott who acted as debt collectors for Halifax. I agreed to make regular payments to them each month and have kept up with this even when made redundant.
I recently (this month) checked my credit report and in short when you look at this particular card it looks as though I have never bothered to make a payment and I still owe the full amount which isn't the case, it shows no repayment history for the last 22 months.
I contacted Halifax and they said its down to B,O,S not sending the updates through to Equifax which I understand affects my score even more than just having the default, whilst I thought I've been repairing my history it's now probably in a worse state.
I've asked B,O,S to contact me to explain this but no one seems to be able to help, the department that deals with this hasn't rung me back despite my requests?
Does anyone know if I can do much about this? Yes I know I was daft to let it get so bad in the first place but when I've thought that making a regular payment on a monthly basis has gone towards repairing my history those !!!!!!s have done nothing but take the money
Look forward to any advice or suggestions

The ICO guidelines on filing a default require a creditor (or another party who the debt is assigned to) to regularly update your file to show an up to date balance.
I'd write to BOS and mention the ICO guidance and demand that your file is updated.A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0
