Extended Warranty on my car

My car is just 3 years old so the original warranty is now finished. At the beginning of this month I was offered a 1 or 2 year extension from the manufacturers and decided to buy a 2 year extension at over £500. i paid by credit card over the phone and was told all documentation would be forwarded to me and that I had 14 days to change my mind.
No documentation came so I phoned last week and was told that it should have been sent automatically but, due to an error, it had not been sent . They promised to send the stuff out. It all arrived Monday - a short covering letter saying that the enclosed booklet gave full details of thhe 'warranty package' and suggesting that I take time to read it properly. It said that I had 14 days from receipt of my original documentation to cancel ( I assume they mean from the day I got this letter and booklet as obviously I didn't get what I should have got before!).
Anyway, I've now read the booklet properly and it does exclude quite a lot - mainly 'perishable' items like batteries etc which I did realise wouldn't be included. However, the booklet also gives details of the European Assistance cover and clearly tells me what to do if I break down. This European Assistance was included in the original 3 year cover which I had when the car was purchased new. I phoned them up today to check that this European Assistance cover was the same as I had when I bought the car - and they daid I didn't have it at all! I quoted all the stuff in the booklet and they still insisted I was mistaken. I'm perfectly capable of reading English and , given that there are 3 full pages plus numerous other short references to European Assistance cover, I was equally sure that, according to the terms of the paperwork, I WAS covered.
They are now saying they've sent the wrong booklet - to say I'm ****** off with them is an understatement. Since the beginning of the month, they appear to have made 2 fairly major errors and my original warrantly only ran out today so the new cover has only just started. They've had my money, sent me warranty details and, so far as I am concerned, that should be the cover they provide. I doubt they will see it that way though so I guess my only option is to phone them tomorrow and tell them I want a full refund as I'm beginning to doubt their ability to get anything right.

Complete con, i paid for an additional 2 years warranty and when i came to use it they refused because my service was done (by them) 4 days past the year, and the part that failed also had nothing to do with an annual service! I argued till i was blue and got no where, was planning to take it further but more important things were going on in my life and i didn't get time to follow it up:beer:0
