Confused by FOS Letter

  • Evening everyone,

FOS told me that Lloyds had been given 'til end August to settle complaints, and so as it's the 31st today and still no letter it was on my 'to do' list to call them.
Well stone me if a letter from Lloyds didn't drop through my letterbox (albeit at the 11th hour) today offering me £7200 ish!!
It's been a long time coming - my complaint went to FOS April 2008, but for such a sum (didn't have a lot of the paperwork so wasn't expecting such a large amount), it's well worth the wait.
They have said if I don't want to accept to inform them ASAP but if not will forward on a cheque!
Watch this space to see how long it takes...:j:j
