Just a word of warning for those who applied for a LloydsTSB Card just before they ended the 12 month balance transfer offer.
I applied just before it ended (thanks Martin for the tip) and after receiving the card I then got a letter confirming that they had actioned the balance transfer.
I gave them a call to confirm the exact date that the 0% ended and they gave me a date in August - only six months away.
Had a bit of a panic and then found on the letter that had the card attached a small bit at the bottom stating that there was a special introductory offer of 0% on balance transfers for 12 months.
Called them back and after being put through to various departments eventually spoke to someone who said that they would get it changed and send out a letter confirming that it was for twelve months.
No letter came so called back today and they confirmed that it had been changed and when they send out the statement it will state that it ends in February 2006.
Just thought I would point it out - it's worth checking that they are not trying to get away with six months! If they are give them a ring and eventually they should sort it out for you.
