  • Just been reading the July thread, and found it totally inspiring! I plan to aim for £10 a day in August. Have joined Quidco today and will put some things on Ebay over the weekend.

Hello! Like I said, total n00b here, so I was wondering if someone might have an opinion of my plan: I currently have a contract of 20 hours a week, but sometimes my supervisors give me a few more shifts. Now I know overtime is included, but I've decided that any extra hours that are included in my rota when I receive it does not get included in my total, however if my supervisors come to me AFTER I've received my rota and then ask me if I can do an extra shift, or stay on longer etc, then I would include those extra hours in my total (if you know what I mean) - shifts that I could turn down if I wanted to (Obviously I'm also going to be ebaying/music magpie-ing/etc like a fiend as well). Does this seem fair, or do you think I'm cheating?

That sounds fair and it's what I did in the July challenge.
