YAY! Things are looking up, I'd just about given up hope of making anything else this month, but I got that £5 cashback through this morning, then checked my emails and I sold something on Amazon (got £8.96 after postage), I also had an invitation to a week long survey (completing a food diary), which I'll be paid £10 for next week.

I also used one of my £10 Finest food vouchers today, so that's another £18.96 to add. Slowly catching up now... :)

    (£117.93/£310)

Just updated my signature. Very pleased £127.24 so far from ebay sales and more to add, it's just so difficult to calculate the net income from ebay sales, takes me a while to figure it all out. I think next month is going to be more of a challenge.:o

Do you have Microsoft Excel on your computer? Its quite easy to set up a basic spreadsheet which you type your sale price, postage, fees etc into and it works out your profit. Someone here used to have a template they were sharing if you don't know how. Or try this - it looks ok, a bit long winded and I haven't tried it myself http://www.ebaycalculator.co.uk/

    Congratulations Aesop - well deserved:beer:

Just sold a DVD and game on Amazon/Play today so almost £14 to add today
Not been here in years! Hi everyone. Make £10 a day challenge = £78.45/155
  • Just wanted to say well done to Aesop & co on their recent winnings !! :T

I don't generally respond to individual posts ... because I don't want to upset anyone by missing them out (not deliberate but always a possibility with me!!) :o

BUT ... I just wanted to give some encouragement to those of the Gang who may be feeling a little disheartened with their progress .... and I know that if I'd not been lucky with the OT like I have the last couple of months ... I'd likely be struggling to reach £5 a day :(

    Keep at it everyone :D

I've been putting in some overtime this evening so that should help out for next month and I've worked out a few eBay and Amazon sales posted last week too. Lots of overtime this week so might be short this month however next month should make up for it. Total so far £97.66

Well done Aesop - that's AWESOME!! It makes my little £23.75 bingo wins look a little measly but evey little helps and I'm ever hopeful for the big win !?

Not really much else to add from the weekend but the extra money is trickling in.

yes but the £23.75 win is still £23.75 more than you had before :j

that's the way I always look at it.

    Thank you too!

I just wish I could tell DH I had won this money and say let's go and see your friends at the seaside for a weekend. This would easily cover our travel and spends. But got to be sensible and pay priority debts first.

At least if I am a tiny bit less owing people money at the end of this year, it will make a holiday feel better next year. More worth it, then worrying that I could have spent the money paying debt/council tax/rent, etc.

Didn't get anything else listed over the weekend as i've been busy preparing for an interview which i had this morning.

I've damaged my back nerves again this morning through sneezing so i'll be putting my feet up later and getting some ebaying done.

good luck with the job interview - hope you get it. :)

ouch to your back, hope you are feeling better. x

thank you everyone for your thanks. I am not encouraging people to play bingo, just had to share as it is the first time I have ever won.

It was a free £5 play I saw through something else, so I just played for the fun of it, like I normally do. Don't expect to win anything, so am not bothered if I don't.

and for anyone feeling a bit disheartened, like G Angel says, anything you are making which is extra than you had before is great! If it means you can pay a Payment a Day (PAD) against something, then that is another debt decreased by a certain amount, which can only be a good thing!

I don't usually make the monthly challenge, but am pleased at any extra I make, as it all goes towards my bills/debt.

So don't give up people, keep going :T

    Morning

Well done everybody for your wins/gains etc - I daren't start playing bingo though I usually get fed up of gambling quite quickly if I don't win!! I've done the lottery a few times over the years but I've pretty well given up on it now as I've definitely spent more than I've won :( .
Then I think of the massive profits all these sites are making from people and that puts me right off!

A couple of things to add:
2p roadkill, 46p asda pg, and £5.26 from an eb*y sale. I've got another couple of small sales coming up but August is an expensive month and I'm never going to make enough to cover my spends - it's going to be damage limitation 'til Xmas I'm afraid!
    Anyway, I've decided if I get up to £50 a month I'm happy...that's £600 a year!

    So new total is £46.67.
August Shopping Challenge. 26/8. Budget £250 Spent £256.81.. £6.81 over. So £0.00 a day left.
  • Hi, I would like to join. I'm not sure how much I can make a day so don't have a target if that is ok but today I will list items on ebay and work to get my craft items finished to sell.

I do surveys and shop via quidco, also, thanks Aesop just found out about treat street and that Amazon collect via nectar.
