  • People who havent received clubcard vouchers yet - I opted to get mine all at christmas as part of their christmas club, so i dont get any during the year. It might be worth checking if you've opted for this and don't know about it?

I do this! I also just put £1 or £2 on my card to top up when i'm in. I tend not to miss £1-£2 and when i checked my reciept yesterday i have got £109 saved up in savers and £28 saved up in points. Its the first year i've saved up this way and i must say it is gonna be a HUGE help when it comes to doing the "big christmas food shop" :D

Anyway.... back to my £5 a day. A few bits have ended on ebay and now all paid and posted. £23.19 after fees and postage so will add to my siggy thingy. :T Also sorted through my wardrobe and found clothes that i just want rid of, so put it all in one big bundle and hope it will sell. There are a few bits there than i've added seperatly are they cost me quite a bit of money (back in the day when i didn't care) and i have watchers on them already so will hopefully sell them!

Gonna spend the weekend sorting my stepdaughters clothes and toys. They are going to visit their mam for 2 weeks so it gives me a chance to get rid of stuff i know they don't play with without having to fight them for it! If they want new stuff for christmas then they'll have to make room! ;)

Ohh, and and another £4 off £30 spend in tesco which i used last night so will add that too. Been getting loads of these recently. I think its because i don't spend as much there anymore. I used to spend £120 per week for 5 of us and i'm down to £40-£60 a week, depending on what i need. I've had to make MAJOR cutbacks in everything to try and pay some debts off. I really should go on the other forum and post my SOA for advice but i still can't face it. Especially since they all gonna tell me to get rid of Sky, my only pleasure in life. :rotfl:

Well...off to update my signature. Oh and before i forget, broken cameras! I've got one of mine on ebay and so far it is up to £13!! I can't believe it! So if you have a broken camera don't throw it out. You could make some money out of it! :D

Been so busy lately I haven't really been able to frequent MSE.

Sold the second of my three cars so I'm now just down to the one I drive on a day-to-day basis. Once again I'm not actually adding this into my total but it's £2,200 back into my hands as liquid cash to do with as I will :)

My first round of ebaying finished two days ago and everyone paid immediately via paypal so I have increased my total to £67.17.

Disappointingly, quite a few things didn't go for anywhere near as much as I'd thought... Maybe the time of year.

I have some other stuff to sell but I'm now seriously wondering if I should just wait until after the bank holiday weekend and join this challenge again properly in September!

I've also tried to do surveys and joined a few new sites and not had much luck. I've also been out a fair bit which has meant less time in and money making!

  • Payday! And with the extra shifts I managed to grab, I made an extra £119! Still £36 to go, although I have a music magpie order that I haven't sent off, worth £15. So I need to get ebaying if I'm going to manage that last £20!

Welldone on the necklace sale. It's lovely to be able to use a skill and hobby to be able to make some extra money.

Would you also be so lovely as to share a bit of info as to what the games offers are that you often mention. :A I'm sure I asked before, but can't remember if you replied or not, and can't find it looking back. Sorry!! :)
