I put 61 items on Ebay yesterday on a free listing day so in a week I am hoping to do ten pound per day for the whole month. I doubt it somehow but will see.

Done an extra 3 hours overtime this afternoon at work so although I won't add it till pay day, that will be an extra £20.70 to add at the end of the month.
Was just on Ebay, and dead chuffed to see my Last 60 days figure, and that I've sold 68 itemsSo over 1 piece of junk out a day on average, and £232.50 extra pennies (roughly, although I must admit that due to being over cautious with postage, I usually end up covering fees as well in p&p charges).
Packed the few bits that need posting for Ebay so will have to pop out to the Post Office this afternoon, but will not even wander into Tesco next door while I'm there so won't be tempted to buy anything unnecessary!
Came across a thread somewhere on here about having August as a 'No Spend Month' - was linked to another website somewhere, and I thought it was quite an interesting idea. Read it to my OH thinking he would scoff at it, and actually he said, Hmmm, we could do that!
So we are attempting it. Obviously necessities such as rent, rates, utilities, food etc have to be spent, but nothing unnecessary. We don't buy clothes etc that often for ourselves, although do often pick up lots of little bits here and there for our little one so that will be difficult to not do. And our other main difficulty will be the 'top up shopping'. You know, like when you pop to Tesco for milk and end up with 4 bags of shopping, and £40 odd worse off. And taking lunches to work as we are not allowed to buy it out.
So hopefully lots of money left at the end of the month, especially with the extra earned with the motivation of this challenge:money:
