regsvr32.exe /i shdocvw.dll

Hi Folks,
This command line "regsvr32.exe /i shdocvw.dll" was given to me to run by a member.

Now I know that advice given in this forum is supposed to be voluntary and the person taking the advice does so at their own risk but I have been left in a situation whereby I am not able to update my antivirus software so I am asking what does the command I quote above do to my operating system.

I am still not able to get my moving images and the link to my originl post is below.

I shall now try reinstalling my firewall.
(what a b****y nuisance I am in right now)

 If you are angry about something, let it be known....... :wall:
:oIf I fail to thank you individually, I am sorry. Your advice was appreciated but may not have been 100% the result I was after.
