Wireless Connection Problem - Need Technical Advice

Hi,

I have a Belkin wireless router connected to an NTL set top box.

2 or 3 times a day it loses HTTP connection and I cannot access web pages. MSN, Skype etc keep working fine. The only solution that I have found is to reset the router by crawling around under my desk and disconnecting/reconnecting the power supply.

Is it enough just to throw it out of the window or should I hit it with a hammer and then throw it out of the window?

Thanks.

Update the router to the latest firmware downloaded from Belkin. Update it using a wired connection, i.e. connect router to computer with Ethernet cable.

I have tried updating the f/w several times but it says that the current f/w is up to date.
