Has anyone had any success with Next? i have had a card for the past 14 years. just checked my statement and i have PPI. I cannot remember if i asked for this, but as i have full sick and redundancy cover from my employer i doubt i would ever use it. would i be able to claim it back to pay off my balance?

Hello there
I expect there have been others too.
Do you still have all the paperwork for this account, going back right from when you taken this out, the agreement then?
You can then try reclaiming all the way back from the start, or they may just go back to the last 6 years, depending if they still hold any data going back beyond that on their systems.
If you think you were mis sold then give it a go, if you've only just became aware of the PPI mis selling as well, then let them know that as well.
Complete the reclaim questionnaire as on step 3 below, send to NEXT head office or complaints dept, keep a copy for yourself as well and they normally have 8 weeks to give a decision, but should keep you informed of the progress of your complaint.
Good luck.

this wouldnt be a applicable reason as it would have been a non advised, so the suitability of the PPI is left up to you.
but, most store card & credit card complaints are upheld at FOS due to optionality, lack of information provided to you and the costs not being disclosed.0 -
Thank you I have just completed the form. I will let you know how iIget on.0
