  • I work for a company that has also been aquired by Jason Granite. The truth is that he has invested into companies that are or were struggling for one reason or another. Naturally people do not like change but when it's for the better and could provide longevity and job security i hope people begin to see that "change is good" if not just plain neccessary! We look forward to a new era and positive future and say "bring it on". It might very well be that without Jasons purchase of the company i work for, i might along with my workmates be out of work. Others might do well to remember that! As for customer service and product line up........ wait and see. We are as keen to see our new look as the customer is.

So is that company Yeomans then
  • No Gelert Ltd. An outdoor gear design and manufacturer. They were a great company before the aquisition and there's no reason to believe that it will do anything other than get better!

Love yeomans, outsell is my favourite brand they offer. Here's to 2012 and lots of camping
  • I recently (January 2013) spent over £200 on hiking gear in the Nottingham store. And have had problems with the quality of two of the items. A pair of hiking trouser the button came off in the washing machine after being worn once. And the pair of hiking boots I purchased (hi tech 50 peaks) were sold to me as being waterproof. I used them last weekend for the first time and my feet got drenched. I spoke with the store and they informed me if I don't have proof of purchase they aren't prepared to do anything. I am in training for 3 peaks challenge to raise money for help the heroes. That's why I spent this money. Very poor service.

Arogers edit your post and remove your email address as you will be inundated with spam emails.

They can send you a personal message through MSE if they decide to.

If they have a twitter account or facebook try that as companies often respond on those

They are entitled to ask for proof of purchase you know?

This could be a bank statement if paid by card
