Tesco staff really should get new copies of the same song book! I was grudgingly informed (by a supervisor at my local store who is notorious for being a miserable ***) this afternoon that double up was starting next week.

I can confirm you was informed correctly, it starts on 03/08/2011. It may not be on the some departments as before.

Not a case of using same book, some staff don't know everything, for as much as they think they do (but you don't need me to tell you that). Also it hasn't been publicly announced to all staff members yet, but those linked with the offers do know.

Oh dear, sorry Candystore. Don't take the blame for misinformation, your friend is probably not in the know. It's rather more low-key than usual, probably because it's not going to be so glamourous as before.

I've been saving my vouchers up - baby due in November and hoped double up would re-appear so i can use vouchers to buy necessities. :j

I'm not digging at you Candystore ! You said you were just passing on info given by someone else who works at Tesco - I was just commenting that, as usual, different staff give out different info. I won't believ its on until I see it - although the reason I asked instore today was because I saw a staff member actually wearing a Double Up promotional T shirt.
