they did this dal at christmas and i ot one then. really good tv, wish i had the monet to get one for my bedroom while its at this price

This may look like a bargain, but isn't really.

Bush do not manufacture TVs. They contract-out the manufacturing to companies like Vestel in Turkey, & have a Bush badge attached to the set.

You're unlikely to find an independent review of this TV, so it's hard to tell whether it offers reasonable performance or reliability.

Which? advises us to generally choose from LG, Panasonic, Samsung & Sony TVs, for their overall performance & reliability.

If you check http://www.hotukdeals.com/audiovisual/deals/new regularly for deals, you will find major brand 40" TVs at this price or for not much more.

One example is this deal http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/toshiba-37rv753b-37-inch-widescreen-digital-lcd-tv-with-full-hd-1080p-freeview-h/983815 . This Toshiba is 37" not 40", but it includes HD Freeview & excellent reviews, & all for only £299.
