Windows XP.
IE 6 and Maxthon web browsers.
How do I get IE to show me a URL I want after resetting web settings and not one that has been built into my registry somewhere?
Whilst changing broadband suppliers, I got dial up as a temporary measure - Supanet. I developed problems and reset my web settings only to find supanet take charge as the homepage instead of Microsoft as one would expect to be the norm.
I deleted everything to do with supanet using SEARCH and tried again.
Lo and behold, Supanet is still set to be the defauldt homepage.
How do I change this behaviour?

If I fail to thank you individually, I am sorry. Your advice was appreciated but may not have been 100% the result I was after.

I know how to do that one.
What I am saying is that as soon I reset my web settings, you expect the home page to be reset as well, normally microsofts homepage.
