Hi,
a little while ago I read on here about a balance transfer deal that you could apply for without it showing on your credit score.
I need to get a new balance transfer, but in the past have been declined for some, and dont want that to happen again and show on my credit file, so am trying to find the one which i can apply to and not have show up on my file.
Can anyone tell me what it was or point me in the right directtion as I can't find it..
thanks!

I don't think there is an application that won't show - however you can try either the barclaycard pre-application or moneysupermarket to see which cards you might be accepted for (these use a soft search)

any application will show on your credit file as a search
what you are referring to is the pre application checks such as the barclaycard one, which only register as a soft search, but are not actual applications.

OK thanks guys, was pretty sure it was an application that was 'soft' but sounds like i must have remembered it wrong.
