Help on Child Benefit Please

Hi Guys,

Does anyone with any word skills have a draft template letter for claiming back unpaid child benefit?

The friendly Child Benefits advisor said we can claim back 3 months as standard, but would need to send a letter to claim back further.

I am not the best at drafting up letters, and i dont want my crap letter writing to japardise my chances of getting what i am owed.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers

Re: Request to back date child benefit payments.

I have recentley spoken to a child benefits advisor in regards to making a new claim. During the converstation I was informed that I can request for my claim for child benefit to be back dated 3 months from the date of my application. I was advised to make this claim in writing.

My childs details are as follows:

    Name of child:____________

    Date of birth: ____________

Child Benefit number: _________ (if you have one yet)

I would appreciate it if you could process my claim. In the meantime, if you require any further information I can be contacted on _____________.
