And gosh, Googling for it it appears to have been on the market for the same price since November 2010 - quite a bit more than the two months the agent told us!
    Since March 2012:

Be careful with buying a one bed property - especially one with what's effectively a downstairs bathroom.

Mind you, pricey part of the world. Am sure we went to a gig there and thought the area seemed nice.

£325 seems fair to me. Lovely looking flat, hope you get it OP!

Hazyjo, it's a big flat that can be loft converted, so a good opportunity for OP.

Always a grey area - converting a loft when it comes to flats. Are they sure permission would even be granted from the other owners (share of freehold)?

Also, that would probably mean putting in an en suite or the only bathroom would be 2 floors down!

It is indeed a lovely flat - just be aware of its shortfalls!

We only really need a one-bed plus study (which it has; I think they just can't justify calling it two-bedroomed because there aren't separate doors from the landing), and we're hoping to stay there for a long time, so I'm not too fussed about investment potential or whatever. :) It's going to be a living space for us and we really like it as is.

Well it's a great space, whatever you do with it.
