"Charging" At Motorway Service Areas

I have just been watching a feature on BBC Breakfast about Welcome Break installing charging points for electric cars. The presenter said that it would take at least a couple of hours to fully charge a car. But wait a minute, don't these same service areas try and "penalise" motorists who stay more than two hours? So how are they going to resolve that little problem?
What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?

Perhaps make those who are charging their cars exempt from the parking charge?

Your giving the PPC's way to much credit, they couldn't work that out all by themselves.

There was a post yesterday when a HGV went in a service station to fill up at 7.30am then again at 8.00pm probably spending several hundred pounds on fuel. The PPC sent the owners a invoice saying the HGV had been there all day. Refused the appeal and demanded payment.

Getting to the electric charging points maybe they will be metered, £10 being the minimum?
