Can anyone recommend a Core 2 Duo motherboard thanx?
Will be adding an E6300, 2Gb DDR2 PC6400 Ebuyer memory and a X1950Pro ATI graphics card.
Don't need anything special, but don't want to find it has bottlenecks with front-side bus speeds or anything like that.
Thanx

The Foxconn P9657AA-8EKRS2H is PC Pro's favourite.0

I just got a Gigabyte GA-965P-S3. Its a slightly cheaper version of the DS3, but basically the same. Great for overclocking. The only possible drawback is if you are running IDE hard drives, as it only has one IDE connector, which is fine if you run SATA hard drives, but not good if you have IDE drives and want a CD/DVD as well.

Ideally I would like to buy from Ebuyer.

The latter board is a highly rated board. The former seems to be a cut down version without the WiFi and the RAID. Does this appear to be a good board to get.
Won't be doing the RAID thing, so I want to save myself £50.

Good choice.
Basically, there are three boards that constantly get reccommended.
MSI 965NEO vs Gigabyte 965 DS3 vs Asus P5B
Id guess any of them would do the job."I'm not even supposed to be here today."0 -

I have the Gigabyte 965P-DS3 and it's great, no trouble whatsoever. NB chip tends to run a little on the hot side though, I replaced it with a passive cooler. The Asus is possibly the best around but you'll pay another £50 or so for it.Blessed are the geeks, for they shall inherit the Internet.0
