NS&I virgin.....subscribed to the Index-linked Savings Certificate with £1k, received a letter to sign and return. Do i have to do this every time this offer is open and put more money in upto £15k?....or can i pay via debit card when ever i want? Not sure how this works compared to a real bank/Building Society account.

They only ask you to return a letter for your first purchase. For subsequent purchases you can apply online and pay with a debit card.0
