resturants or cinemas near gatwick?

W are flying out from gatwick next month, from the north terminal.
Due to the parking times, etc we are staying at the premier inn that is actually on site, but parking in the airport parking during the holiday.
So, from 2.30pm approx till we fly first thing the next morning we are car -less.
Is there anywhere nice to eat around there, or a cinema maybe? it would be 2 adults and an 8 yo so family things really, quite happy to get a bus etc but not familiar with the area.

Hi,

Crawley Leisure Park is 4.59 miles from Gatwick, (or 10 minutes walk from Crawley Station or Bus Station)
It has a Cineworld cinema and various restuarants on the complex

The Metrobus Route 10 runs from the North & South Terminal and according to the route map goes past the leisure park complex
