Im contracted for 40 hours, 8-5 monday-friday only.
Just wondering how much this needs to be changed before I can still be entitled to a redundancy option, thanks.
The offer that is currently on the table is a 38 hour contract, but with a possible 2 lates per week.

This in my experience is a very grey area, what you need to look around is what is regarded as "suitable alternative employment" - To refuse a position offered by your employer as "alternative" you would need to establish that its not suitable on a number of grounds, with regards to total hours, working times and locations if they want to move you to another location and could be on the duties required etc.
I know when I have previously been in this position my employers always had a policy document to say what they regarded as suitable i.e. matching a role with >70% similarity accross the things mentioned above0
