Legoland

Hi

Going to legoland next week for the day with my two dd's, also my sister and her two kids. We have looked at the q boosters and I was wondering do the kids need them as well or could my sister and I just get one? Thanks

Whoever has the qbots can go in via a separate entrance to join a qbot/disabled queue at a time given on the qbot which is usually shorter. Buying yourself and your sister one each would mean that your sister and you could join the qbot queue at the time given on the qbot, but the children would have to queue in the normal queue on their own and be tall enough to able to go on without an adult.

Thanks for you reply. That would be a no-no for us then.

We are just back from legoland (went on Monday) and the queues were quite long. Big rides had a wait of at least 45 mins, other rides anything from 20 mins. It was a scorcher of a day so particularly busy. We had exit passes although we definitely thought that if we didn't we would pay for the qbot, although I know it is expensive. I think it is worth the extra money - although the rides were all great some only lasted a few minutes so personally i think the more you get to do the more value the day is, especially if you are only going for a day. Maybe try to save on other aspects of the day, like food and drinks/transport and use the money saved for the qbots.

We went last year and if I'd known how rubbish the day was going to be because it was wasted by queuing for around an hour for rides that frankly weren't worth queueing for then yes, I'd have paid for qbots for all of us. We'd got the tickets through the Tesco Clubcard vouchers so I would have been prepared to pay for the qbots if I'd realised the difference they would have made. As much as I didn't want to queue for so long, I felt we had to go on the rides as that was the point of being there, but we missed so much of the park that the whole day was a waste of time. And I hope they've sorted out their wasp problem this year as it was infested when we went. All in all it's not somewhere I'd rush back to!
