How important is it for the kids to have their own bathroom?

Just think of all those toilets that will need cleaning........:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.0 -
Simple. Lock shut the one child's en suite and then they all have to share the "guest bathroom".0

We had 2 bathrooms in our house when I was growing up and we were considered very unusual. I also had a sink in my bedroom, as did one of the spare rooms (big house), but I never minded sharing a bathroom and htink it's very odd to want one to yourself. I don;t even like ensuites personally, I'm happy to share a bathroom. DFW Nerd Club member 023...DFD 9.2.2007 :heartpuls married 21 6 08 :A Angel babies' birth dates 3.10.08 * 4.3.11 * 11.11.11 * 17.3.12 * 2.7.12 :heart2: My live baby's birth date 22 7 09 :heart2: I'm due another baby at the end of July 2014! :j

When I were a lass we all shared the one tin bath once a week in front of the fire in the kitchen.
The toilet was in the yard
The potty was under the bed
And that was central London in the late 60s ( 1960s before anyone gets smart)

we do have an indoor bathroom, but we also and mainly use our existing out door loo.

OMG reminded me of my boys when they were youngsters and would pee anywhere and everywhere:eek::eek::eek: Their favourite was in the toybox in the middle of the night. DS3 (17) recently peed out of his attic window as the builders were here and had turned the water off. He was apparently desperate but paid the price when he had to hose down the garden afterwards:eek::eek::eek:I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.

Make them swap bedrooms every year so they all get a turn at having the one with the en suite.
Or give them points for doing work around the house, running errands etc., and the one with the most points every few months gets the best room.
I haven't bogged off yet, and I ain't no babe
