Horrible hair cut, can I get a refund?

Options
Hi all,
recently visited a new local salon to have some hi-lites added to my hair ready for the summer break but the colour was not as requested and was way too blonde for my hair. I asked the stylist if she could fix it, to which she responded that I would have to wait several days as my hair had already been damaged by the bleaching process. I have gone back in today to see if it can be fixed and they want to charge me!! What are my rights? can I claim a refund?

I've been mis quoted the sales of goods and services act a number of times in the past by people who are misinformed.

People seem to think not of satisfactory quality means if they don't like it they have rights -- when infact it means to be free of defects or inherent faults.

I'm unsure whether the hair dresser has made a mistake or not, if so it will be not as described. But this happened to my partner a while back and I remember her telling me not every colour/die turns hair the same colour and that it sometimes depends on the hair itself. I imagine the hair dresser will have a disclaimer somewhere stating this but it really depends whether its simply a case of its not quite what you was hoping for or whether they have messed up and its come out wrong.

I don't need to worry about a bad haircut i haven't enough hair.
I want a transplant like Wayne Rooney.

No on second thoughts, i definitely don't want to look like Wayne Rooney.

Surely he would have to put you back in the same position as before.. so would have to put each hair back as it was before you entered :D
