First Time Buyers Stamp Duty

Anyone know what will happen to the first time buyers stamp duty after the 24th March?
I cant seem to find anything about what is likely to happen. Me and the boyf are planning to buy our first house - around £220,000 -£250,000 mark, however we wont start seriously looking until spring next year.
If we have to pay stamp duty it will make quite a difference to our budget. Therefore I'm sure whether we should start looking sooner and try buy before then (with a smaller deposit).
Thanks

I think only George (and maybe David) knows the answer to this.
Depends on how good/bad the economy and housing market gets.0
