Actually, didn't OP say they didn't get paid for June at all? Why doesn't manager simply work out difference in pay and holiday pay? Or is that too easy?Noli nothis permittere te terere

OP doesn't say when the previous pay day was, nor if she's paid in advance / arrears, so it might only have been a week that's owed (for example). Besides which, she doesn't just owe holiday, she owes the loan for the course, so I suspect she will end up owing them a lot more than they owe her.
