Wigs wanted

Hi I will be doing a charity event and want everyone to wear a wig, does anyone know where I can obtain some wigs for this event, where is the best places to go, I don't want to have to pay out for them as this will take money from my charity takings, I also want to keep them afterwards for future events, am I asking too much to expect to get these, I will be donating the money to Douglas Macmillan Hospice

I'm afraid I don't know where you'd get free wigs from, but have you given thought to cleaning them between outings? Not everyone has meticulous head hygiene ...

I doubt that the majority of people who have wigs would be prepared to give them away, they can be pretty darned expensive. I'd suggest that your best bet might be to approach your local fancy dress shop and see if they might be prepared to sponsor your event with a wiggy donation?

You can of course buy those ghastly cheap novelty wigs in luminous colours from joke shops etc.
