  • I tried a Hanns-G HU196D 19" TFT and despite playing with the settings it still didn't have the sharpness, depth of colours and quality I had with a 6 year old 19" iiyama CRT.

Is CRT always going to better than TFT for image quality ?

as a general guide LG have a top reputation particularly on a quality V price basis , as you get a very god screen for not too much of the folding stuff.

at last I have found someone with sense - everyone always says that TFT are as good or better than CRT - all I can say to this is BO**OCKS !!

If you genuinely believe this then you are blind !!!

CRT beats TFT by a country mile - no comparison - maybe the most expensive ever TFT could be compared to a real crap CRT but otherwise no way.

Wehn I bought my flat screen and set it up and viewed the same image I had just viewed on the CRT my heart sank :(
