Thanks for this, its the price per kg I always work on - anything under £5 per kg is good

I've added 3 to my order anyway for tommorow night, changed order 3 times already :D
If they run out of this cheese will they send a substitute and still charge me the same price same size and two packs free?

They didn't used to but I think Tesco have recenlty added offers to their substitutions so yes :)

Exactly. Tesco's are currently doing 2 500g packs of their own cheese for £5, ie £5/kg. It's also worth checking out the cheese counter at your supermarket since they'll have offers that you don't get in the pre-packed aisle

that is the 'normal' price. but they're usually on B1G1F or half price offers.

either way, 1.2kg of cheese for £4.29 is a bargain!

for those who are interested, the cheese works out @ £3.58 per kg.

    hth

I'll be getting my 1.2kg at ASDA then for just £3.86 :)

... which works out at just £3.22 a kilo :D

Ah, but I'll be using £5 off a £40 Tesco shop (Daily Mail), £8 off a £40 Sainsbury's shop (nectar promotion) and £3 off a £20 Tesco shop (till spit).

    So I'll spend £45 and get a £16 discount (36% off).

Therefore, I'll be getting my 1.2kg at Tesco then for just £2.75 :)

... which works out at just £2.29 a kilo :D

And I'll get approx. 100 clubcard points.

    ;)

Yes but I was only working out what the "actual" price would be ultimately charged by ASDA - NOT what I'd pay for it.

    I'd guess I'll probably end up paying about 60p - so 50p a kg
