JSA advice

Hi,

I left my part time job (8hours a week on a Saturday) in March in order to concentrate on my final year exams at university, I have recently graduated and I'm now struggling to find a job.

I have always thought that if you voluntarily leave a job there is a 26 week period where you cannot claim anything, however, a friend recently told me that she has already started claiming (but her circumstances are slightly different to mine). I don't know if the process is different because I was a full time student, so I'm just wondering if anybody has any advice on this?

Thank you in advance :)

I would say apply and they will make their decision. Better than not applying at all.

As far as I know the 26 weeks begins when you start your claim, so don't wait 6 months before claiming!
Science adjusts its views based on what's observed.
Faith is the denial of observation, so that belief can be preserved.
