Part of the Furniture 1,000 Posts Combo Breaker I've been Money Tipped!
I didn't want to read and run as your Courage and sense of Will came through in your Thread...

I have also just gone through a Break-Up and it IS hard....but it DOES get better....and yes there will be times that you are sad...but really go for it with your Goals and Dreams...that's what I'm trying to do.

I wonder if it might help for you to do a "Statement of Account"...I don't have the Link but I'm sure someone will post it for you - It will show us if you can save money anywhere....thus leaving more for your Debts or some Luxuries or to treat your Son....or something...

Just keep going...You're doing brilliantly!! :T

    Hi Partridge

See you've been given sme good advice from Tixy ( as usual). Just wanted to say as someone who has been in the same situation as you re being cheated on, it gets better and the sooner you can forget about her apart from decisions about your son, the better for you.
  • Once again thanks all for your encouraging support - I have moved on already - the bridge has been burnt but arrangements at home are amicable at the moment for all our sakes especially the little one.

Also I am sorting things already re bills etc eg changing all DDs to my bank account from next month in preparation for the eventual split when she leaves - this is so we can close the joint bank account asap.

I have plans to live my life differently when my son stays and when he is staying with her - to be honest I think I will cope a lot better as I have family and friends all around me who he is used to and stable with.

Roll on a debt-free future - I have the determination and strength to do it
